The first ChocoMuseo was opened in July 2010 in Granada, Nicaragua in the building of the Hotel Spa Granada. Then we opened more ChocoMuseo in Cusco, Peru (February 2011), Antigua, Guatemala (December 2011), Lima, Peru (July 2012) and Punta Cana (December 2012).
Our main objective at ChocoMuseo is to make chocolate from local cacao beans and teach everyone who visit us where chocolate comes from. Our museums are small but interactive with enough information to learn. But if you want to know more about chocolate don't hesitate to ask us and we would be happy to answer you.
